• Uses Existing Base of the DX Controller - allows the footprint mounting location of the replacement FAC to remain the same as the existing DX-9100 Series controller. The addition of a new panel to meet the physical requirements of the FAC3613 may also be avoided
• Field Wiring Terminated to the Base of the DX Controller - requires minimal re-wiring because the base of the DX controller is reused and is not removed from the panel. The DX-FAC-Adapter comes with most terminations pre-wired and ready-to-be-assembled. Test sites determined that this feature alone could save hours of field labor time for each controller upgrade
• Pre-Wired to the FAC Controller - reduces or eliminates the chance of wire termination errors
• N2 Compatible - enables field-conversion to N2 from Master-Subordinate/Token-Passing (MS/TP) with the use of the Controller Configuration Tool (CCT). The controller can then be converted back to MS/TP at a future date
